Eternal Research is an analog music technology company that approaches their work as philosophical inquiry. The brand is less of a product company and more like an ongoing experiment: part lab, part séance. Their vision centers on expanding what counts as a musical gesture, and what can be listened to.

Vanilla Type

Custom Tool: Poster Generator

www.poster.vanillatype.com

As part of the launch of the new Vanilla Type foundry, Cotton designed and built an interactive poster generator that lets users explore the many facets of Vanilla Grotesque in a real-world graphic design simulation. Tasked with “making the boring look more boring and the fun look more fun,” Cotton developed a system that demonstrates both the utility and expression of the typeface.
